About Think Team

  • The Upper Township Think Team provides students with the opportunity to showcase their unique interests and really celebrates academia in an intellectual competition. Being a part of Think Team is an opportunity for just seventh and eighth grade students.

    Teams from twelve Atlantic and Cape May County middle schools put their brains together and compete. The other schools are Absecon, Brigantine, Galloway, Hamilton Township, Hammonton, Linwood, Margate, Northfield, Pleasantville, Somers Point, and Ventnor. This day gives students a chance to succeed in nine categories: geography, literature, history, math, science, pop culture and entertainment, mythology, sports, and potpourri and spelling.

Ms. Pannone

My name is Ms. Amanda Pannone and I teach 6th and 7th grade math at the Upper Township Middle School. I grew up in West Chester, Pennsylvania and attended four years at Millersville University where I studied Middle School Math. After graduating from Millersville University with my Bachelors, I moved to South Jersey because I just couldn’t leave the beach! I am beyond excited to see what we can accomplish together as a team this year! Together as a team we will be competing in multiple competitions:

  • Quiz Bowl - St. Augustine Preparatory School

  • Think Day - Mainland Regional High School

  • Annual Brain Bowl in Cape May County
